Mr. Om Prakash Agarwal [The Chairman & Managing Director ]

Mr. Om Prakash Agarwal is a professional turned entrepreneur, qualified Senior Chartered Accountant and a rank holder from East India Region of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants, having over 30 years of rich experience & knowledge in the fields of Export Management, Marketing, Finance & exposure of manufacturing facilities.

Prior to launching "AMBO", he was with a multinational company for over 2 decades in a senior level business management capacity.

As Chairman, his overviews major functions of the group companies. His vast experience in different business sectors helps the companies in appropriate decision making. His able guidance has helped the turnover increase in leaps and bounds. His far-sightedness, dynamic leadership and vision to turn dreams into reality have surged forward the company to deliver sustainable and profitable growth while spearheading the transition into institution encompassing corporate governance and values.

Mr. Rabindra Agrawal [Director]

A Commerce Graduate with over 20 years of experience in the export-import, tea plantation and allied business sector. He looks after affairs of the plantation industry of AMBO and quite rationally, shares with CMD the success in tea exports as one of the largest exporters of Tea in the country.

Mr. Saroj Agarwal [Director]

A Bachelor of Business Administration from the United States of America having over 15 years of experience in the same line of business. He takes care of the other commodity exports & processing units and all expansion projects of the Group. Under his able guidance AMBO has been able to achieve & maintain the “Star Export House” status with great élan.

Mr. Ashok Agarwal [Director]

A qualified chartered Accountant with over 12 years experience in production, marketing, finance, accounts and administration of edible oil. He is an Independent Director in Swastik Refinery (P) Limited. This unit has maintained a stable growth under his able guidance.

Mr. Manoj Agarwal [Director]

A Master of Business Administration from the United Kingdom having over 10 years of experience across various verticals and functions from manufacturing to refinery to finance. He takes care of refinery & solvent extraction business and all expansion projects of the Group. An intelligent thinker, a pro-active leader with expertise in strategic planning, execution & management, he has helped the organization in maintaining its current position.

Mr. Umesh Agarwal [Director]

An important stakeholder and member of the AMBO group company promoters. Mr. Umesh has taken his marketing degree from UK and is responsible for branding, promotion, marketing and corporate communications. Many of the domestic and export brands have been introduced by him. He is having rich experience in manufacturing of edible oils and biscuits. His expertise in sales & distribution has immensely helped AMBO to grow from strength to strength. He is also responsible for adherence to MRTP and intellectual property rights.

Mr. Shovon Majumdar [Director]

He is an Independent Director of AMBO Exports Limited with over 35 years of managerial experience in the fields of Tea Manufacturing and Export Marketing. He has the experience of working in PSU’s like Tea Trading Corporation of India Ltd, Macneill & Magor, Balmer Laurie & Co. Ltd etc. in various senior management positions. During his tenure at Balmer & Laurie he extensively travelled across the globe for developing export market for the Company. Presently the company has been highly benefitted through his guidance.

Mr. Pradip Sen [Director]

An economist and MBA with over 40 years of diverse experience in consultancy, line jobs, international trading, and offshore finance in India and overseas Mr. Sen has joined the board as Director of AMBO Steel & Power Limited. He is responsible for Corporate & Financial affairs, Implementation of the forthcoming Mineral Processing unit in Odisha and corporate affairs of the company.

Mr. Sunil Krishna Bhattacharyya [Director]

An expert in Tea Manufacturing, Marketing, Packaging and Export, having over 50 years of experience in the industry across various functionalities like Manufacturing, Administration , Marketing both nationally & internationally. He has worked with companies of much repute like Junior Chamber International, (Head Quarters - New York, U.S.A.), Octavius Steel & Co., Tea Trading Corporation of India Limited. Presently he is on board of Ambo Exports Limited.

Mr. Binod Saharia [Director]

He has 30 years of extensive experience and expertise in the field of Tea & other Agro-products industries. He is a reputed Businessman associated with Tea & other Agro-products. He is also having good knowledge and experience in Finance, marketing and administration. He has been appointed as an Independent Director of Ambo Exports Limited w.e.f 29/09/2009.
