The affirmative CSR programme
AMBO had always strived for adhering to the “Good Corporate Citizen” norms that primarily embraces the concerns of society, reforms and the environmental issues. In the socio-economic area other than organizing education at the rural segment and facilitating adult education with teaching aids, the programmes for creating self-supporting income generating modules for rural uneducated women gets the main focus. Other focused areas are;
Vocational training and skill development programmes
Scholarship for merits at the school level
Generate awareness about solar energy and extend participation and cooperation in Government programme
Education and demonstration about water conservation and water harvesting
Organize plantation programme and green campaign
Innovative support like Eye on Art
CSR Budgeting
Depending upon the planned programme a budget document is prepared wherein tentative cost of the planned programme is estimated including contingency provision. After appraisal and evaluation of planned programme and the budget AMBO management allots a fund for a year but the allotment is project based.
The CSR activities get coordinated by AVP [Corporate Affairs] under the guidance of a designated director of AMBO group CSR programmes undertaken by the company get duly reflected in company's E-Journal [Turning Point]. The designated coordinator will keep record of each activity with authentication reports and photographs. A concise report of CSR activities will be placed once in a year for review and to be taken in the Annual Report.
Policy Diversions
Whenever justifiable the AMBO CSR cell enjoys the liberty of engaging NGOs, Institutes, Trusts, Missions, etc of proven track record for successful implementation of the planned programme or may appoint professionals with requisite expertise as" CSR Campaigner" on contract basis to assist in delivery of CSR programme. AMBO website shall also carry the CSR policy and details of programmes.
